The Windsor & Maidenhead League currently has 17 teams competing in both the 2 league divisions and the cup competition. Building on this, the league is keen to continually grow. There are spaces available to form new teams, and plenty of teams that are keen to recruit new members to join them. Check out our existing teams here. Start a Team - new teams are welcome to join the league. You need 10 people (5 men/5 women) to play softball. Get together with friends from work or in your area and start a new team. The Windsor & Maidenhead League can offer help and advise on getting you setup and ready to play. Just a few suggestions of how we can help: We can help you organise some friendly matches - see how you like softball before committing to playing in the league. You could share practice sessions with other teams to help get you going. We can help you get a ground to play at - you may be able to share with existing teams. If you are by yourself, or don’t have enough people to form a team - you can join an existing team and start playing softball right away. Teams welcome new members of all abilities, from complete beginner to expert. Teams have members of all ages, from 16 to over 50, and we are always particularly on the look out for more women to come and play softball. If you are thinking of playing softball, the best way the League can help you is to talk through what you are looking for and then we can direct you to a team that will suit you best.
